Operation and Maintenance Plan and Glossary for PV Systems
July 2021
MEI has created a new glossary and maintenance plan for off-grid solar systems under GIZ's Energy Solutions for Displacement Setting (ESDS) project. This is part of the company's strategic mission to provide localized sustainable operations and maintenance (O&M) solutions. Reducing energy poverty in evacuation camps and settlements in Ethiopia, Kenya, and Uganda.
The glossary contains the most frequently used terms used in the installation, operation, maintenance, and financing of off-grid solar systems, while the maintenance plans include warranty terms, repeated malfunctions, and operations for these solutions. And maintenance protocols.
Both documents are published on the Energypedia website, follow this link to access it.
The publication is authored by Raluca Dumitrescu and Daniel Philipp of MicroEnergy International.
