Dear Team,

After another Corona year, nobody would have dared hope that we would get a boost in time. Perhaps this second year of the pandemic passed for some of you with difficult experiences related to family or friends, but we hope everyone still could get through well. In addition to an individual boost against Corona everyone should get, we as MEI can consider ourselves lucky that we received the approval for the large RE-LEAP MG-Farm project recently, finally a kind of company boost. Hopefully, this will help us to compensate for the difficult second half of 2021.

 

We have had many changes this year, some canceled or postponed projects due to the international pandemic, but we have brought a lot to a successful accomplishment. We have to thank you all for this, especially considering the current circumstances. The change in the team, especially all the new team members were well-integrated and fitted in great. Amazing job! This deserves our appreciation, both for the existing team with the established structures and good preparatory work, as well as for the new team that had to familiarize itself and pick up speed.

 

With these changes, an exciting and new focus of our work on North Africa has now emerged. In the same way, the linking of our innovative approach swarm electrification with agriculture is finally developing thematically.

 

We are looking forward to the exciting and challenging year 2022, for which we already have interesting and promising projects confirmed and in the pipeline. We hope that traveling will finally be possible again because field experience is and will remain an important part of our motivation and good work.

 

We wish you a peaceful and healthy End of the Year Holiday despite Corona and look forward to seeing you again in the new year.
